Hi-

I'm here less often after the move to web-only -- have to get into the habit. Thought I'd post a link to some pictures of my studio - it's up and running after a lot of complications.

The acoustics part wasn't complicated, though - broadband absorbers in the corners and panels on the walls, thanks to the forum. The control room sounds fine, the recording room needs more. The only thing I can say is you'll never underestimate how much of the stuff you'll need...

So thanks to Dan, Eric, Scott and Stephen and everyone else for all the help and advice - and Paul, I still want to come up and see your place!

Hello Myles,

Nice, spacy and cosy, and I indeed recognize some Yahoo things.
Gear I don't know sh** about.

Warm regards

Nice One Myles!

If you decide to call the place "Eric's", then beware that I'll almost certainly be calling my place "Eric's" too!!!

My Place wouldn't exist without Eric's exceedingly generous help.

You're welcome to visit my place of course :) - Check my "Studio Diary" topic to see what's done so far. Basically I'm preparing for the the first concrete slab pour.

Soon be close to ordering the Sylomer as well ( Which in terms of bank account is OUCH!!! )

I bet it feels real nice to work in a finished studio. I look forward to doing the same.

:)
