Sign Eric's cast

Postby Bob » Sun Jun 26, 2005 9:38 pm

Hi

For those of you who don't know, Eric broke his right elbow a couple of days back.

We'll be able to tell when Eric can go sailing to escape from the warm weather (i.e. "Cast Off!") when he starts capitalizing his words again. Until then his posts likely won't have many individual capital letters on words, and we probably won't be seeing things like this from here:

Did you know casts are made from gypsum.

Anyway, round here it's tradition to sign the cast, occasionally with whitty sayings and well wishes.
So I've provided a starting point for you to download, edit, and post&attach, if you wish. :)

Dang Rod!  Take up the whole damn cast why don't ya!?

Eric, from a person who has had three casts in his short life, got a long, slender stick   cause that thing's gonna itch.   :? Also, don't cut if off early with bolt cutters like I did mine when I was twelve!  Get well soon!

Get well soon Eric, we need your CAPITAL LETTERS  :D

And I hope your medic designed that cast with a proper M-S-M decoupling, we don't want you to get hurt worse with all this people jumping all over it

The airspace is impossible to calculate. In 3 weeks the arm will be thin as a toothpick. Once I had a cast on one leg for 5 weeks, when it came off I was shocked cause my leg was "gone".
Don't want to scare you Eric...

i do thank you more than a lot

i don't know what to say, (not standard: mostly have trouble not knowing when to shut up)

i'll drink one to you all

bob, i admit you're very creative ................ a firm handshake (AAAAAUUUUWWWW THE OTHER ONE) and thanks.
i'll keep this signed CAST/plaster for ever. (even hang it somewhere here)
btw: thanks for the horizontal perimeter.

  paul assumes i'm fat, just because there's a lot of eric in the wrong direction
so paul: i'm not fat, there's just a lot of me .................................................

"Acousticians do it in anechoic chambers" - so, when they arrest you for the "fatty", no need to tell you to "come quietly" because you already did??!?

Jeez, Eric, if ya wanted more attention you could just ASK for it, or were you lookin' for more "sympathy SPAMMER"  in the "silent scream" room?

David wasn't kidding about the long slender stick - besides, you could also use it to hold down the SHIFT key  :bang  Get well my friend,... Steve
