You're older and wiser than me. Do you really understand this?

At least this seems wrong to me:
"Soundproofing generally works on the principle of transferring sound from the air into another medium which absorbs and attenuates it."

I came across info on windows/profiles that when closed allow air circulation.
there is such a thing (not new at all) without the voodoo part...
