Subject: Exterior Windows
My current studio is located in a some what rural area and I want to install
some windows in it to see outdoors when not doing any important recordings. My
question is what is the best consumer grade double glazed window to
install.Possibly one on the exterior backed by one on the interior.Or if anyone
has any better solutions.I know it is best not to have any windows but the last
studio I built like this I began to hate to be in it because of the closed in
feeling.I guess it would be best just to build them all like a control room
window but this would involve alot more work and materials. They will be set in
a 2"x 6" studded wall with brick exterior.I also considerd building some kind
of latch built into the interior wall to use a plug when in a session. But I am
not sure how to construct this. How do all of you who like and have exterior
windows in the studio delt with this?
