The question is what kind of solar panal(S) would you use. Then,
what kind of regulation and integration (AC conversion or change all
equipment to DC - very quiet, very difficult *read expensive*). Then
you have to decide about storage because the sun doesn't always
shine. Efficient storage is expensive. You have to do all the math.
Things like figure your maximum and average draw and find out the
average amount of sunlit for your area. Size your system for the
worst possible total amount of sunlight that you might get. It takes
a long time for a solar system to pay for itself unless it is a 12V DC
system. Lots of work.
