Can ACAD 14 export directly to a gif? I've been exporting from ACAD as dxf and
then opening the dxf into freehand to convert into a gif
I think gifs might be the best since everyone can view them and they could
probably do mark-ups in a paint program or photoshop. I would be willing to post
dxf file in addition to the gifs for the people who have access to cad programs.

The another option is, finding some freeware or shareware cad programs for PC's
MAC, Linux I could post for download.

I don't know of any way to save files as a gif directly from ACAD. I'm
referencing ver. 14.01 if it makes any difference. I think it'd be
appreciated by those of us who have it if you do post in dxf as well as
gif. Thanks,

I was hoping you guys knew some command to export as a gif, I guess I'll keep
doing it the same way
I'm leaning to DXF and gif since both can be small files most of the time.

There is probably a file conversion add-in out there... but I just export as
a bmp and then open in Adobe Photoshop and save as a jpg.

I guess we could just zip up bmp's... they are pretty universal... do they
zip well?
