triple leaf effect in glass

What happens when you have a pane, a large gap and then a thermal iso double leaf pane?

Not much, as you would think.

Here is the measurements:

This pic compares:
orange 6 mm - 200 mm gap - 6-12-6.4 Stadip (Saint Gobain)
blue 6 mm - 200 mm gap - 10.8 Stadip

If you view life with the knowledge that there are no problems, only opportunities, you are a marketing manager.......this is my personal philosophy

Obviously, the triple leaf effect is not there if the difference between the gaps is important.
In your example it is 16.5 x difference.

In my mastering room, my outer pane is standard 1.1 Saint Gobain double pane glass (I think 8.2-15-4, the 8.2 is for safety reasons), then a gap of about 400 mm, 26.5 x bigger than the thermal pane gap !), and on the inside a thick 15.2 acoustic pane. The inner wall is built on the floating concrete slabe, so there is no acoustic connection between inside and outside.
