Folks,

I know that some of you already know this - but for those who may not - it's been over a year in the making - but finally - last week - my newest, latest (also first) book went on the market for sale at Barnes and Nobel,  Amazon.com as well as Play.com in the UK.

The title is: Home Recording Studio Construction: Build it Like the Pros

It covers everything from concept to finish - including chapters on electrical (focused on clean power) and HVAC/Fesh Air system. ( Although the electrical covered is based on US power systems.)

It is not heavy on math - it is very heavy on details.  This book is not meant to compete with anything from the master - but rather to complement works like that by providing a level of construction espertise that most of the current books on the market do not possess.

It also includes information for downloading a series of tools (Provided by our buddies Brian Ravnaas, Jeff D. Szymanski and myself)  that complement the book.  These tools are in the form of excel spreadsheets for the PC,  with a Mac download  of those as well. (Brian and Jeff didn't know we went that route by the way).

If you are considering constructing a home studio - I hope it's a tool you'll consider using.  If not - then let's have a beer and just celebrate.

Sincerely,

Rod

Great news, Rod!!!!
I'm, excited!  :)  :)  :)  :)  :D  :)  :D  :)  :D  :)

I ALWAYS look for good published works, and from the little I know you, I'm sure this is going to be a blast!

Count me in + 3 copies for our college library + (possibly) mandatory for my students.

Is there anywhere I can see the table of contents?

Warm Regards,

Jonathan.

Well there are always 3 possibilities - you could purchase a copy and pay the postage to mail it around the world -  I could purchase a copy and mail it around the world (then you pay me for the book and postage)

The third possibility  is that I could always email you an insert,  with my original pen scanned and turned into a PDF........

Awww.........  the wonders of the internet........

Hi ROD !

I gladly accept the PDF if you autographed it ! Just joking :-)

If you accept money thru moneybookers (seems the cheapest way to send money from the Europe to the States). I'l be happy to send the money to and contribute for your 1rst million dollar fortune :-)

i searched for "gervais", and i only found Ricky Gervais, who i assume is a cheap wannabe (no offense, ricky) (also, i hope he's not related after i made that remark) (finally, if he is related, i hope he knows i'm kidding)  (lastely,    )

I also finished a book on acoustics but it's in portuguese and it's kind of "Acoustics for dummies", very basic stuff, reflection, reffraction, summing two sound sources etc... only 100 pages and it was a nightmare to do it lol

andrebrito:

When you post links to amazon, all you need is the first part.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1598630342 is enough to identify the book.

The '104-7517131-5259104' part of the URL for example is your amazon user id.
